Our friend Val Lucas of Bowerbox Press in Monkton, Maryland, is coming to Lake Worth at some point to help us get our big Colts Armory Press up and running. While Val is not yet here with us, we were able to bring in some of the cards she makes. These letterpress printed notecards of hers feature a woodcut of a barn owl against a clear moonlit starry sky. Printed in warm navy ink on recycled paper.
